Le Verger is a wedding venue in Northern France, located one hour's drive from Calais. It is set in an acre of landscaped grounds on the outskirts of a village, next to the church, surrounded by a laurel hedge and is completely private.

The house was originally a 15th century chapel and has been lovingly restored to a high standard. Two wings have been added to the main building, creating a large courtyard with a traditional covered terrace.

We provide a large marquee in this courtyard and around the covered terrace to create a fabulous environment directly linked to the house.

With its original beams and enormous gothic window, the sitting room provides a wonderfully atmospheric space for non-religious ceremonies.

The 2nd floor suite is 6 x 7m and has exposed beams, a freestanding bath and an ensuite shower room. It is the perfect romantic setting for the bride to get ready for her big day.

There is a choice of beautiful old churches with stained glass windows available on Saturdays for religious ceremonies conducted either by a Catholic priest or an Anglican vicar.

Our wedding planning service, which is included in the price, covers the local arrangements: church, vicar, priest or celebrant, florist, wedding cake etc.

The pricing provides for the bride's immediate family to stay in 6 bedrooms over the wedding weekend and includes one evening meal and two continental breakfasts.

The Wedding Breakfast is a 3 course meal of traditional French dishes and wine.

Evening snacks are included and a bar can be provided.
